Beautiful Villa with sea view on Peljesac

Villa Maslina Orebic is located in Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula. Orebic has been known as a rich maritime centre since the 15th century, when it was part of the Republic of Dubrovnik. Known for its fleet of sailing ships, which died out with the transition to steam power in the late 18th century, it is still known today as a place of sailors and captains. The Peljesac Peninsula is the second largest peninsula in Croatia and is located in the south of the country. The peninsula is known for its unspoilt nature, its beautiful beaches and its first-class wines, which are now recognised as part of the world. In addition to the rich wine offer, Pelješac is also known for the cultivation of the best shellfish, namely oysters. A must-visit place is Ston, known as the oldest European saltworks and the second longest wall in the world (after the Great Wall of China). Another place you must visit is the island of Korcula. You can reach the island by ferry or taxi boat from Orebic. The old town of Korcula will enchant you with its narrow streets, numerous restaurants and sights such as the house where Marco Polo was born. For all lovers of water sports, not far from Orebic there is the place Viganj, where you can surf, sail and kite surf. Peljesac is certainly an undiscovered jewel not only of the Adriatic but of the entire Mediterranean.
