Beautifully restored stone villa with pool

Villa Viva is located in the medieval village of Tinjan; with all the amenities within walking distance. The Adriatic coast is 20min away from the beaches and tourist towns of Porec, Rovinj, Novigrad... Pula and Brijuni islands national natural park are about 45 min away. From Porec, you can take a boat trip to Venice. Tinjan is also close to Pazin. A small, historically rich city in the heart of Istria´s magical hinterland. This city has a lot to offer, located only 30 km away from other touristy towns. For hundreds of centuries, Pazin was the strongest Habsburg fortress in this area and the headquarters of the former Pazin ruler. This medieval fort (“Kastel”) is well-preserved so you can visit it nowadays. It is being used as an Ethnographic Museum of Istria and the Museum of the Town of Pazin. You should also visit some churches in this area because 6 of them are protected as a part of Croatia´s cultural heritage. One of them, the church of Holy Mary in Beram (located between Pazin and Porec), is world-famous for its Istrian fresco of the Dance of the Death, dating back 1474. The hinterland of Istria also offers more than just culture. If you are a nature-lover, you will enjoy it. Try out the zip line, go hiking or for a gastro-bike tour to try out some Istrian specialities. You should not miss seeing the little lakes, waterfalls and even caves. In this pure nature, you can also swim in the summer.
