Nudist beaches in Croatia - indulge in the naturist way of beach life

Nudist beaches in Croatia - indulge in the naturist way of beach life

Enjoy the Croatian coastline, just as Adam & Eve would

Its beautiful beaches, the pristine sea, nature and national parks, the historical sights…. these and many more are the main reasons why Croatia is so popular among tourists around the globe.
But, there is another reason why Croatia is an attractive holiday destination- its nudist beaches.
Croatia was one of the first countries to introduce naturist resorts in its tourist offer and therefore it is very popular among people who indulge in the naturist way of beach life. Since even members of the European royal families enjoyed skinny-dipping in the Adria, we are sure that it is also joyful for those among us who do not have a royal bloodline.
Proof for this are the numerous nudist resorts and beaches all along the Croatian coast. We have made a list of the most prominent beaches and resorts, so if you are an advocate of the naturist lifestyle but have not explored the Croatian coast yet, these are the places to go:

ISTRIA:

Naturist beach Koversada in Vrsar:
This is one of the oldest naturist parks in Europe and due to its long tradition, it offers everything that one could wish for. It is located near the town of Vrsar, on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula. A variety of beaches (pebble, rocky, sandy, paved…), parasols, as well as a great offer of sport activities are available for your use.

Galeb AC Solaris
The Galeb beach is located under the auto-camp and apartment settlement Solaris on the peninsula of Laterna, Tar-Vabriga near Porec. The beach is rocky and paved, and many tourist amenities are nearby. Many of our villas located in this area, so if you book one of them, this is the beach to go.

Valalta in Rovinj
The Valalta camping site is also one of the oldest naturist beaches in Croatia. It is situated on the northern coastline of the lovely town of Rovinj. The campsite offers a variety of amenities. The beaches are gravel, sandy, rocky and paved.

KVARNER:

Beach Kacjak in Dramalj
This beach is located on the peninsula Kacjak, which is close to the tourist hot spot of Crkvenica. It can be easily reached from Dramalj, walking along the coast. The beach is mostly rocky or paved, while various kinds of facilities can be found nearby.

Beach Konobe
This beach is located on the island of Krk, near the town of Punat. This is a pebbly beach and is awarded with a blue flag, which is an indication of high environmental and quality standards..

Beach Bunculuka
The beach Bunculuka is one of the most popular nudist beaches in Croatia, located on the island of Krk, near Baska. This is a 250m long white pebbly beach that offers a beautiful scenery for a restful experience of the Mediterranean. A restaurant and many other amenities can be found nearby.

DALMATIA:

Beach Strasko
This nudist beach is located on the island of Pag, near the famous tourist town of Novalja. It is situated right next to the campsite that carries the same name. The beach is about 2000m long, although only one part is nudist.

Beach Nugal
This amazing beach is located near the town of Makarska and is known for its stunningly beautiful white pebbles and the crystal clear sea, as well as the steep rock face that offers the shadow that is needed in the host summer days. This beach is far away from the city rush, so no restaurants or other amenities are available.

These aren’t of course all the nudist beaches in Croatia, the offer is much much bigger. Almost every secluded beach can be used as a nudist beach.
So just enjoy the liberty and open-mindedness and be one with the nature.
