Time seems to stand still here. The Marlera lighthouse, which was built in 1875, could have served as inspiration for Virginia Woolf. The picturesque villa, which rises lonely on the rock near the sea, creates with its white walls a beautiful contrast with the deep blue Adriatic Sea and the endless blue sky.
In 2012, the villa was lovingly renovated and the charm of the historic building combined with modern living comfort. Cozy and at the same time rustic - the country-style furnishings create an atmosphere of lightness and relaxation. Of course, a real fireplace should not be missing. With a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the villa can accommodate up to 6 people. The outdoor area has a breathtaking panoramic view, inviting you to linger. Lovers of culinary delights will be particularly pleased with the summer kitchen and dining area, but there is also a very special place for dreamers. In the large beach bed you can gaze into the distance and enjoy the sea air. Maybe you are lucky enough to see dolphins? Or just close your eyes and listen to the waves breaking on the cliffs.

Le phare Marlera est à seulement 4 km du premier village, idéal si vous voulez oublier le monde entier et profiter de vos vacances! À quelques minutes du phare, il y a l´île familiale de Levan avec sa plage de sable. Les proprietaires vous emmèneront gratuitement sur l'île avec leur bateau. Le bar et grill de plage "Dreams & Sand" propose des rafraîchissements et des repas.
En outre, vous pouvez profiter pendant l'hiver du phare, assis devant la cheminée, faire des promenades, visiter la belle Istrie et tout ce qu'elle peut offrir ...
Vous pouvez faire de la plongée en face du phare (il y a un vieux bateau coulé), louer des vélos, faire du surf ... Dans le village il y a des courts de tennis, beach-volley, équitation, beaucoup de bars, restaurants et discothèques à quelques kilomètres (Medulin). Dans le village le plus proche (Ližnjan) il y a un distributeur de billets, pharmacie, supermarché, boulangerie ...

Unsere Woche im Lighthouse war leider sehr enttäuschend.
Wir waren schon mehrmals in Istrien und sind immer sehr freundlich und professionell in den Häusern empfangen worden. Dies ist hier keinesfalls ! Das Haus ist ein Diamant, die Lage wahnsinnig schön, aber das alleine reicht nicht.
Das Haus war sehr schmutzig, nur oberflächlich gereinigt.
Sämtliches Geschirr ist klebrig, Lichtschalter, Türen usw. sind schon lange nicht mehr sauber gemacht.
Sehr sehr schade, denn dieses Haus hat schon etwas magisches.
Wir können das Lighthouse leider bei diesen Bedingungen und bei diesem Preis keinesfalls weiterempfehlen.

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Ihr Urlaub nicht ganz Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Wir entschuldigen uns auch im Namen der Vermieterin der Villa, da es nicht üblich ist, dass Gäste nicht in der Villa begrüßt werden. Die Vermieterin bestätigte uns jedoch, dass sie an diesem Tag leider eine besondere Situation hatte und bei Ihrer Ankunft nicht anwesend sein konnte. Die Vermieterin erwähnte auch, dass die Villa für Ihren Aufenthalt angemessen vorbereitet war - wie es für alle Gäste im Allgemeinen der Fall ist. Sollte in Ihrem Fall dies nicht so gewesen sein, bedauern wir, dass Sie sich während Ihres Aufenthaltes nicht bei uns gemeldet haben, damit wir die Möglichkeit gehabt hätten, rechtzeitig zu reagieren.
Wir hoffen, Sie haben diesen magischen Ort trotzdem genossen.

The handling to get access to the lighthouse was absolutely easy, everything was well prepared for us.

Ein absolut magischer Ort zum träumen, entspannen und nachdenken. Endlose Spaziergänge am Meer in absoluter Ruhe. Ab und zu trifft man auf Spaziergeher oder Radfahrer und manchmal sogar auf Delfine die gemütlich vor sich hinschwimmen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, sauber und sehr gemütlich gestaltet. Vorallem der offene Kamin macht es an einem kühlen, verregneten Abend besonders gemütlich.
Wir waren hier mit unseren beiden Hunden welche sich hier auch sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Es gibt 2 kleine Dinge zu bemängeln, da das Grunsdtück zur Meerseite nicht ganz eingezäunt ist muss man auf die Hunde gut Acht geben da hier auch ab und zu Radfahrer oder Spaziergeher vorbeikommen und nicht jeder sich über eine wilde Begrüßung von Hunden freut. Der zweite Punkt ist die Zufahrt zum Haus, es ist ein Feldweg welcher bei Regen sehr matschig wird, da kann man schon mal ein wenig ins Rutschen kommen oder sogar steckenbleiben. Bei trockenen Verhältnissen nur etwas holprig aber sonst kein Problem.
Alles in allem ein wirklich wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr gemütlichen und sehr sauberen Unterkunft mit wunderschöner Aussicht.

There are some places you live in for a while, but then they fade away from your memory. There are others, though, that enchant you with their primeval beauty, in a way that you cannot but keep retourning, unable to resist their charms ... just a place like ... lighthouse Marlera ...
Zuerst: Unsere Reisezeit war Mitte Oktober, vier Erwachsene, zwei kleine Kinder, ein Hund.
Dieser Ort hat etwas magisches. Wenn man Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht, um zu erden und abzuschalten, dann ist man hier richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ganz besonders waren die Delfine, die gegen späten Nachmittag im Meer zu sehen waren.
Die Küche hat alle notwendigen Utensilien, das Grillen in der Außenküche klappte gut und die Bäder sowie die Zimmer sind gepflegt. Der einzige kleine Hacken ist, dass das Haus aufgrund der direkten Lage am Wasser und des Alters ein wenig mit der Feuchtigkeit zu kämpfen hat, an einigen Stellen bröckelt der Putz von der Wand, Schimmel ist aber nicht zu sehen:)
Direkt vor dem Haus kann man auf den Klippen klettern, spazieren gehen oder einfach nur auf das Meer schauen.
Abschließend kann ich diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen??????

We spent a really amazing time at the Lighthouse Marlera. It really is an enchanting place, it´s only you and the nature. As we were there in October, it was not that warm anymore, but it was still so nice to spend the afternoons at the terrace, just looking at the waves. It is just such a romantic place and you forget there about all your worries! The hosts, Slaven and Tijana, were the nicest people you could meet, and they assisted us with everything we needed- Slaven brought us delicious steaks from a local butcher and a few bottles of local wine and olive oil (both excellent!), so we did not need to leave the place at all. The house is tastefully decorated, very simple but with style. Myistria were very professional and helpful. So we would definitely recommend the agency and this amazing lighthouse. It was so hard to leave the place and we will definitely come back!:)
