Villa familiale avec piscine, centre de l'Istrie

Charming property that would benefit greatly from a bit more love and care: We (two couples, children aged 1, 3 and 6) had the rented property for a single week. The first thing we noticed when we arrived on Saturday is that the nice on-property children's playground that is shown in the pictures had disappeared. Owner explained that some adults broke it earlier in the season trying to use the swings designed for children and that he had bought a patio swing as a replacement. While the double-seated patio swing is nice for adults, it is little fun to little kids. Owner promised to provide a proper replacement by Monday afternoon / Tuesday morning. The replacement only actually arrived on Wednesday afternoon in the form of a trampoline. The 3 and 6 year old kids had a blast, but it was not really suited for the 1 year old kid who cannot even jump yet. We discovered that the barbecue grill had not been cleaned in ages. A new grill was delivered the next day. We discovered that two of the sinks in the bathrooms were clogged and did not drain properly. The issue was fixed the next day. Since we wanted to explore Istria instead of staying at the villa all the time waiting for somebody to come by and fix things, we did not bother complaining about that none of the dozen knives was sharp enough to cut through bread or a block of cheese, that some of the doors in the house would not properly close shut during the day when it gets hot, that the spin cycle in the washer was far too weak, that the dust bag in the vacuum cleaner was full to its brim (with no replacement bags to be found), that the dishwasher was out of salt and rinse aid (with no replacement to be found), that there were four cues (and a broken one) at the pool table but no billiard chalk to be found anywhere, that most of the pots and pans had already reached the ends of their life-cycles, that the car gate could not be locked but be opened by anybody, or about that there was an eerie, low, grinding sound coming from the neighbor's A/C installation which is very present in the otherwise nice sitting area by the pool. This place could be really great if somebody took the time to identify issues like these (and fix them!) before the guests arrive.

Beautiful, spacious and well-equipped villa in a very quiet location with a nice spool. Amazing bike trails around. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The service provided by the owners and MyIstria team is superb. Highly recommended.

Fantastic very spacious vila! Everything is really as in the pictures and as expected. You need to experience for yourself, truly to be recommended!

Great house and pool. Friendly owners. Lots of facilities. Central in istria (but a bit isolated togheter with a few other holiday villa's).
