Villa Nevia is located in the central part of the Istrian peninsula, near the small town of Kanfanar. The old architecture of the town and surrounding villages is well preserved, and vineyards and olives dominate this area with warm Mediterranean climate. Kanfanar and its surrounding countryside are well known, not only for their historical and cultural legacy but for genuine Istrian cuisine. Istria is a unique and enchanted place that has welcomed visitors and settlers from all parts of the world for as long as we have recorded history. The city of Pula with its Roman amphitheatre and Brijuni national park with an 18-hole golf course are just a 30-minutes drive away. It is a great place to enjoy the food, history and, after all, to relax. Car is recommended.
Incredible villa with perfect yard and lovely view. The villa was very clean with spacious rooms and very nice bathrooms. The kitchen was huge with everything that you might need to support a lengthy stay. The sports facilities were incredible. Well maintained and made our stay even more fun as we used the basketball, volleyball and football fields every single day. 10/10
A really top class villa with wonderful sports facilities (own tennis courts!). Perfectly clean on arrival. The villa was in perfect condition and extremely well fitted out - dinner service for ten, all pots & pans, and furniture and technical apparatus all in full working condition. The huge pool is a major plus. The hosts also showed some flexibility about check in and check out which made a significant difference for us - high class people with the right approach to guests of this level of villa.
Our only regret is that the villa is booked out for the rest of the month so we can't go back :)

Ein wunderbares Haus, es ist alles vorhanden und gut organisiert. Sehr freundliches Personal bei der Ankunft und der Abfahrt. Bei einem Problem mit dem Strom am Sonntag wurde sofort zwei Elektriker organisiert um sich um die Fehlerbehebung zu kümmern. Wir werden wieder buchen 😀😀😀
Wir hatten eine sehr sehr schöne Woche in der Villa Nevia. Es ist ein noch neues sehr luxuriöses Haus mit Top Ausstattung und für 10 Personen ausreichend Platz. Das was wir bemängeln können ist dass eine Schere in der Küche wünschenswert gewesen wäre und die Dusche am Pool hat getropft sodass hier viele Wespen waren, das Spray hat leider nicht viel geholfen das wir von der Besitzerin bekommen haben aber das waren Kleinigkeiten und nicht wirklich ein Problem für uns. Was sehr störend war, waren die 4, 5 Hunde in der Nachbarschaft die jeden Abend und Nacht ziemlich lange gebellt haben. Nichts desto trotz würden wir sehr gerne wieder kommen.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Villa Nevia during which we explored just about all of Istria. The beautifully decorated villa is exactly as described on the myistria website. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious and well appointed kitchen and took full advantage of te lovely yard, pool, and community garden.The villa is well located in the center of Istria, within an hour of just about everything you'd want to experience. There are several good restaurants within a half hour's drive. The owners visited during our stay, bringing gifts of local cheese, wine, and grapes. For those who have not yet visited Croatia: we found the people friendly and helpful, the small, historic hill towns charming, and the food outstanding.
Our stay at Villa Nevia was really beautiful. The house was very comfortable,
the kitchen was equipped very very well. The big pool was really a highlight.
Also the house was cleaned very well in every little corner. We also enjoyed
the tennis-court and football-ground. We really can reccomend this villa and
hope to come back soon for a holiday in beautiful Croatia.
