Beautiful stone villa with private pool in Rovinj

This property consists of two old Istrian houses on 1500 square meters plot of land. The property is completely renovated to provide comfort and privacy for our guests.
In the larger building, there are two floors. On the first floor, there is a kitchen-dining area and spacious living room while three bedrooms are located on the second floor. In the smaller building, the lower floor also consists of a kitchen-dining area and living room and on the upper floor, there are two beautifully decorated rooms. Altogether there are six bathrooms at the villa. In the courtyard (which is completely walled and gated) there is a large 36 m2 swimming pool and spacious Al-fresco dining area. By the pool, there is also a large outdoor grill area for a family barbecue, having a drink or just relaxing. On the beautiful west coast of Istria, just underneath the Lim canal is the most romantic place in the Mediterranean! The town of Rovinj is the right destination for all of you who long for a sentimental atmosphere of the times long past. Due to the lack of space, houses are closely built, streets are narrow and squares are small, still untouched by modern urbanism. Nearby is also the pretty town of Svetvincenat with its Renaissance Church and the spectacular remains of Grimani Castle to explore.

Istria is indeed a feast for the eyes. Its streams flow to the sea through deep valleys and gullies which bring to mind the ancient local myths about giants. Wir waren im August/September 22 mit drei Familien (6 Erw, 6 Kinder und zwei Hunde) in der Villa Marco und können diese bedenkenlos empfehlen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und die Häuser in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die meisten Räume sind klimatisiert und der Pool wird alle 3 - 5 Tage gesäubert. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich. Das komplette Gelände ist umzäunt, so konnten die Hunde immer draußen spielen. Die großzügigen Terrassen.- und Grillanlagen sind auch bei der hohen Anzahl von Leuten ausreichend bemessen. Die Lage des Anwesens ist sehr ruhig und mit dem Auto ist man in 20 Min. am Strand oder einem großen Supermarkt. Kleinere Besorgungen wie Brötchen und Lebensmittel gibt es sogar im Nachbarort. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden in den 14 Tagen einmal gewechselt. Wir können nichts negatives über den Aufenthalt berichten und geben der Anlage die volle Punktzahl
Hallo, wir waren bereits im August mit 6 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und einem Baby zu Besuch. Es herrschte bei unserem Besuch schon eine lange Trockenzeit, weshalb ein striktes Wassersparprogramm in der Region ausgesprochen wurde, darum war der Außenbereich sehr vertrocknet. Insgesamt war es aber alles okay. Für viele Person ist das Objekt/Objekte (sind ja zwei Gebäude) gut geeignet. Besonders schön ist, dass im Hauptgebäude jedes Zimmer ein extra Bad hat, zusätzlich gibt es noch eins im Wohnbereich, was dieses Objekt sehr interessant für mehrere Familien/Paare macht. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alle Zimmer hatten eine Klimaanlage, wie auch der Wohnbereich, was es bei den Temperaturen sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Gestört hat uns, dass durch die Lüftungen im Bad die Mücken ins Haus gekommen sind, dass haben wir den Vermietern aber mitgeteilt. Auch die vielen Wespen waren sehr lästig, was aber vermutlich daran lag, dass alles so trocken war und der Pool die Insekten angezogen hat. Ein weiteres Manko war, dass die Villa mit im Nirgendwo liegt und es dann doch genervt hat, dass man nirgends mal was essen oder einkaufen konnte. Man muss ca. 10-15 Minuten für die nächste Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeit einplanen. Hört sich erstmal nicht schlimm an, ist im Urlaub irgendwie lästig. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, weshalb wir insgesamt trotzdem 5 Sterne geben.
