If you are looking for a beautiful, traditional, Istrian villa, then you have come to the right place at Villa Lui! The 450 square meter property was restored with great care and attention to detail. It exudes the charm of the past and at the same time offers all the advantages of modern living such as WiFi or air conditioning.
The charming stone villa can accommodate up to seven people and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen as well as a dining and living area. The three stylishly furnished bedrooms are on the first floor, while the fully equipped kitchen and the adjoining open concept living and dining area are on the ground floor. The wooden beams on the ceiling and the old fireplace give the ground floor an additional rustic touch.
In the outdoor area of the villa is a 24 square meter pool, that lures you to relax and where you will surely spend many pleasant hours. Next to the pool is a covered outdoor kitchen with a dining area and a stone grill, where you can try one or the other local delicacy.
The garden is fully fenced and decorated with a lot of plants, what gives him a Mediterranean touch. Here your children can play carefree and have lots of fun on the seesaw. A private parking place is also available for all guests arriving by car. To sum it up: At Villa Lui you will find everything you need for a perfect and carefree holiday.

This 3-bedroom stone villa is located in Rovinjsko selo, just 5 km from one of Istrian most beautiful towns - Rovinj. With a 1700 year-old history it is the most beautiful and luxury tourist town in Istria with an astounding old city centre – an architectural pearl. Its magnificent buildings and charming streets, filled with small art galleries create a genuine city of painters with numerous restaurants and cafes. It is one of the most 'photogenic' towns in the Mediterranean, once a fishing town, today it is a tourist resort. At a distance of some 35 kilometres from Pula, Rovinj has long been known as the town with favourable and beneficial climatic features. So, today its people are still proud of this long tradition and 'fight' for the title of 'healthy town'... The rest is nature’s work. The entire coastline, with its twenty-two islands is an area of protected natural heritage.
Also make sure not to miss the Lim Bay- a 10 km long channel in a protected landscape with slopes which are covered in different forms of evergreen shrubs and rare sorts of oak. Here You can enjoy intact nature and also see a pirate cave where one of the films of Winnetou was made. The length of the cave is 105 meters and the average temperature in its interior is around 12 degrees and relative humidity is 70-75 percent. The oldest remnants of the early man in Istria were found in this cave.
Wunderschönes altes Steinhaus, perfekt renoviert mit eigenem Pool. Ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Rovinj in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Mit dem Fahrrad nur bedingt ideal, da der Rückweg ausschließlich bergauf führt.
Beautiful house, garden and pool and nice location - very quiet place in a small village not to far from Rovinj Town and Beaches. Kids liked it very much and we had a great week there. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Would go there again!

Sehr schönes Haus, nette Vermieter - alles bestens - gerne wieder ....
We enjoyed Villa Lui so much. The house is very nice and calm, the pool is good for a short swim and you can spend your time in the nice garden. We also enjoyed the grill and seating option outside which can be used as well at windy / rainy days.
The size of the house was perfect for us (4 adults and 1 baby - thank you for the baby bed). It might be a bit tight for 7 adults, especially in the kitchen / living room if the weather is bad and you can't stay outside.
I can recommend Villa Lui and we may come back one day!

The villa was clean when we arrived and the gardens and pool are well maintained and attractive. We do have some suggestions though. Last year we rented a villa on the Dalmatian coast and the owner gave us information on arrival + brochures on local attractions. I think the current owner could have done more in this regard. Also we were a little disappointed that we had to leave the house at 10am on the day of departure when the new owners were not coming until 15.00. Last year we had a 12.00 departure time.
However we loved the Istrian area and the coastline. We also loved our trips into Italy and Slovenia as well as exploring the Craotian attractions. We would love to come back. to the area again some time in the future

Thank you for your helpful review. We will inform the owner about getting some brochures in house. The departure time of 10 AM was clearly stated in the booking procedure. The owners really need the 5 hours to clean and maintain the villa properly so the arriving guests would also have it perfectly clean and well maintained as you have found it yourself.
