Modern villa with private pool and big garden

If you like modern style combined with practicality and a spacious living area for the whole family or friends group, Villa Sofia is just right for you! On the ground floor, you can find a beautiful, bright open concept area connecting the living and dining room with the kitchen. Here you can also find a stationary bike if you decide to stay fit during your holidays.
Except for this, there is a bedroom, bathroom and a laundry area. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms with comfy double beds, en suite bathrooms and an extra bedroom in the attic, if you arrive in a group of 10. There is also an entrance to the terrace to overlook the pool. The place where you will surely spend most of your time is in the beautiful, big garden of Villa Sofia. If you travel with children, or just enjoy sports, you will find a net for playing badminton or volleyball. But the most chill area is definitely around the pool where you can unwind while dreaming about dishes you are about to prepare in the outdoor grill area and the shaded al-fresco eating area. Perfect place to gather after a long day at the nearby beach or after sightseeing activities. You will surely enjoy the beautiful villa with an amazing view of the church tower of the village, the nice garden with a lot of natural shade and the proximity of touristy towns and natural beaches.

Krnica is a little town located in the east part of the Istrian peninsula. The main landmark of this town is the belfry at the church of st. Roko, also the protector of the city. The name of the little town, once a fisherman village, comes from the Celtic word “kar” meaning stone. This area is famous for fish specialities and you can also try great wine but also enjoy your holidays actively. Enjoy a panorama bike tour, go hiking or just relax at the nearby pebble beach (about 2,5 km - 5 km away from the villa in Krnica or Rakalj). The touristy town Pula is just 28 km away from the villa. Sightsee the famous Roman am amphitheatre and visit numerous museums, restaurants and bars.

Wir waren für eine Woche mit 5 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern in der Villa Sofia. Das Haus, der Pool und das große Gartengrundstück sind gepflegt, am Pool finden sich tolle Liegen und vom Pool waren alle begeistert. Die Küche und der Grill laden ein alles zuzubereiten was man so im Urlaub benötigt. Durch den großen Kühlschrank hatten wir auch stets kühle Getränke. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren alle sehr hochwertig und modern eingerichtet, Handtücher waren ebenfalls genug vorhanden. Der Poolservice kommt regelmäßig, sodass dieser stets eine sehr gute Qualität hat. Mehrere Autos passen in die Auffahrt und durch das elektrische Tor und das umzäunte Grundstück mussten wir auch keine Sorge bezüglich der Kinder haben. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Auch die Vermieterin Maja war super und immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite was Empfehlungen angeht. Wenn man lecker essen gehen will bietet sich die Pizzeria Kum im Ort an, circa 5 Minuten fußläufig entfernt.
The days we spent at villa Sofia were amazing! We were a young group of 10 and spent a lot of time at the residence. With a volleyball net, plenty of hammocks, a big garden and a big pool we were more than happy. On rainy days we were able to still spend time outside under the roof of the terrace and play games. The inside furniture was great and super modern. Almost every bedroom had a bathroom and the beds were also comfortable. The only thing that we felt like was missing were enough dishes. It was alright, but a few more would be perfect! We were able to walk to the beach in 30 minutes, with the car it were about 7 minutes. The supermarket, the bakery and the pizzeria were all about 3-5 minutes away. Thank you for the stay- we can highly recommend Villa sofia.
