Peroj is a village not far from Fažana and Pula. It has been recognised as a summer resort since Roman times. Cultural sights and heritage fans should definitely visit Pula and Rovinj. There is a promenade along the sea from Peroj to Pula, so you can get to Pula sightseeing with a leisurely walk. In Pula, you can, among other things, visit the famous Amphitheater, the Double Gate and the Church and Monastery of St. Francis. Rovinj is the blue pearl of the Adriatic, one of the most picturesque and romantic cities in the Mediterranean. In 1963, Rovinj was declared a cultural monument.
