The beautiful Villa Campagna carries its meaning with a reason. This luxurious villa, nestled in the small village of Galizana, near the city of Pula, is a beautiful blend of modern and traditional style, surrounded by peaceful, green surroundings.
The choice of colours and carefully chosen furniture tells that you are in Istria. The spacious ground floor of this beautiful villa features a living area, dining area, kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite bathroom, sauna, and a game room with table football, darts, and board games. The 3 remaining bedrooms, each equipped with a TV and A/C unit as well as an en-suite bathroom is located on the first floor. The master suite also has access to a charming balcony with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside. Outdoors you will find a beautiful private pool with sun loungers, as well as a covered terrace with a stone grill and dining area for 10. It is the ideal spot to relax and refresh during the day and to gather together during the evening if you are not exploring the surroundings. In Villa Campagna, you don´t have to compromise on anything. :).

Galizana is a small village near Pula, the biggest city in Istria, well known for its historical sites. The history of Galizana is reaching back to the Roman time when Galizana was the crossing point of roman trade roads. Today it´s a small place with 1500 inhabitants, with the parish church of St. Rocco from the 17th century in the centre of the place. As this is an agricultural region, the population is predominantly engaged in viticulture, olive growing, and livestock, producing olive oil, goat cheese, and other local products. The advantage of Galizana is its peaceful setting in the typical Istrian landscape and the proximity of many attractive amenities that are just a short drive away. Some of them are the Roman Amphitheater from the 1st century, National Park Brijuni Islands with a unique golf court and a safari park, and many cultural and tourist sites. Choose your perfect spot on a pebble, stone, or sandy beach on the coastline between Fazana and Valbadon, just 5 km from Galizana, or visit the cliffy beaches of nature park Kamenjak, the most southern spot of Istria. Discover the inland of Istria and its medieval hill towns with their rich heritage, tradition, and gastronomical highlights. Don't miss trying Istrian truffle and prosciutto. For active holidaymakers, the area offers many cycling paths and within 30 km you can reach the stunning Lim bay and try kayaking, or visit the most romantic Istrian city of Rovinj.

Wir waren vom 27.05.2023 bis zum 03.06.2023 mit 10 Personen (4 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder zwischen 8 und 13 Jahren) in der Villa. Die Eigentümerin Paola ist, wie bereits in mehreren Rezessionen beschrieben, wirklich super gastfreundlich. Erst hat sie uns sehr herzlich mit einer Käse-Schinken Platte, Wein und Olivenöl empfangen um uns dann während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bei allen Fragen super freundlich zur Seite zu stehen. Zur Villa: Die Villa ist tatsächlich so perfekt, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Betten top, Küche top, sehr viele Handtücher, Terrasse und Pool perfekt. Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Auch 2023 sieht alles noch aus wie neu. Zur Lage: Wir haben bewusst eine Villa in Alleinlage gesucht und mit der Villa Campagna gefunden. Der nächste (und einzige) Nachbar ist mehrere hundert Meter entfernt und wir haben von unserem Grundstück aus ganze Woche niemanden gesehen. Der Garten ist toll und Paola hat uns gebeten, die dort wachsenden Früchte (momentan Kirschen, Erdbeeren und Kumquats) zu essen. Die Hauptstraße zwischen Pula und Vodnjan ist zwar ganz leicht zu hören, wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt, stört aber nicht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend in Pula und Vodnjan (jeweils 5 Minuten mit dem Auto) vorhanden. Strände: In 10 Minuten sind die Strände in Fazana zu erreichen. Es lohnt sich aber auch die 30 minütige Fahrt an die Ostseite von Istrien in Kauf zu nehmen und die ruhigeren Strände (z.B. Duga Uvala) zu besuchen. Es war ein absolut toller Urlaub und wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.
Wir waren in der Villa im August 2022 mit 7 Personen und hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Eigentümer waren sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und für Anliegen immer erreichbar. Die Villa war neu, sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Das großzügige Areal und die Alleinlage waren ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Absolut empfehlenswert!
