Lighthouse home in Pula - try something different

Amazing 5 star view, even dolphins jumping in front of the lighthouse. Very nice contact with the owner. The only downside of the property is the side building with the extra bed. The ground smell and the high humidity in that building made us not use the side building. City of pula nearby and some good restaurants in the neighborhood.

Wir haben eine wundervolle und sehr erholsame Zeit in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön und wir hatten sogar das Glück Delfine direkt von der Terrasse aus beobachten zu können. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch der Empfang durch Vermieter Mislav war total freundlich und das Einchecken, sowie das Auschecken verliefen vollkommen stressfrei und unkompliziert. Uns und unseren 3 Kindern hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir können es kaum erwarten noch einmal einen Urlaub in der Unterkunft zu verbringen. Am liebsten wären wir gar nicht mehr abgereist :-)

Location excellent but definitely not worth the money. It it indeed right on the beach, you may watch the sunset right from the terrace, but the house needs a complete restoration. Doors, won't close, there are no mosquito nets (and it is full of mosquitos in the evening), is very hot in the night because there's no air conditioning, the kitchen is old, beds are squeaking.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Anwesen, die Lage ist perfekt!!! Auch für unseren Hund war es genial!! Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, Grill, grosser Kühlschrank nette Möbel sehr gute Matratzen !! Die Küchenutensilien sowie Messer usw waren nicht so gut hat einiges gefehlt. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, das haben wir dem Vermieter aber schon gesagt, war das fremde Leute um die Terrasse laufen können, sich direkt neben unsere Liege legen konnten. Aber das gehört nicht mehr zu dem Grundstück des Vermieters daher kann man das nicht ändern! Der Vermieter versucht schon seid längerem ein Stück mehr zu bekommen so das er es einzäunen könnte !! Dann wäre alles perfekt

Das Lighthouse Verudica ist wirklich traumhaft gelegen. Es liegt direkt am Wasser. Von der Plattform aus kann man das 'Treiben' auf dem Meer wunderbar beobachten. Wir haben sogar Delphine gesehen. Das Grundstück ist groß genug, so dass man gut abgeschottet ist und im Innenhof ist man völlig ungestört. Leider hatten wir eine Schlechtwetterperiode erwischt und damit mussten wir auch die Nachteile der Unterkunft kennenlernen. Vor allem im Nebengebäude entstanden sehr strenge Gerüche, die vermutlich aus der Kanalisation stammen. Bei schönem Wetter bestimmt kein großes Problem, aber bei Dauerregen mit sehr starkem Wind musste man zwangsweise Fenster und Türen weitgehend geschlossen halten. Das war insbesonders nachts schon eine Zumutung. Die Türen sind leider auch nicht ganz wasserdicht, so dass kleine Überschwemmungen im Eingangsbereich nicht zu vermeiden waren. Leider fiel im Nebengebäude auch noch die Heizung aus, bei Temperaturen unter 10 Grad und nasskalt wird es dann unangenehm. Auch sollte man die Waschmaschine austauschen. 2-mal mussten wir um um Hilfe bitten. Diese kam zwar sofort und Mislav und der Techniker waren sehr nett und freundlich, aber der Start der Maschine war trotzdem etwas abenteuerlich. Die meisten Mängel hätten wir bei shönem Wetter gar nicht bemerkt. Deshalb ist der Bewertungsabzug großteils der schlechten Wetterlage geschuldet. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass es bei schönem Wetter ein Traumurlaub gewesen wäre. Gerne würde ich bei schönem Wetter nochmals einen Urlaub im Lighthouse Verudica verbringen.

Wer atemberaubenden Meerblick, Meeresrauschen von aufbrausend bis einschläfend und trotzdem wunderbare Ruhe sucht, ist im Lighthouse Verudica mehr als gut aufgehoben. Der Ausblick von der Plattform mit den Liegestühlen ist wirklich so, wie auf den Werbebildern-ein Traum besonders am frühen Morgen zum Sonnenaufgang und am Abend zum Sonnenuntergang. Und Ruhe findet man im Innenhof unter dem Feigenbaum. Natürlich gibt es einige kleine Mängel - neugierige Touristen, die rund um die Aussichtsplattform laufen oder nach einem nächtlichen Sturm nicht ganz angenehme Gerüche aus dem Duschablauf, aber die Naturvebundenheit in diesem Haus macht alles wett. Ab Mitte September wird es nachts schon kälter und die Restaurants in der Anlage machen zum Teil zu. Die Küche ist aber gut ausgestattet und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es. Alles in Allem ein wunderbarer Urlaub!

In the lighthouse I spent 4 weeks with my two dogs. The rest of the family came for a few days. The location is beautiful; just unbelievable. The landlord is a very helpful and generous person and he was immediately very likable to me. The property is fenced with a fence and partly a drywall. Thus, the dogs are safe. This also applies to smaller children. I was there in midsummer and personally I lacked the air conditioning. My adult children were the same, although they are not impaired. (Apparently, in this building (for reasons of monument protection) no air conditioning systems are installed! The sea was reached in a few steps and an absolute pleasure. A few meters away is a restaurant with a beautiful terrace and a beautiful sea view. A very massive fig tree stands in the yard and offers shade. However, there also jams the heat. The gravel, which is distributed around the house, unfortunately, of many Cats from the area used ...! The viewpoint with the 2 beach chairs is very exposed. Very nice to use early in the morning and late in the evening, but with the many tourists around, not necessarily my need. Once a week the cleaning force comes by appointment and then the beds are freshly made and wiped. I would like to book the lighthouse again, but then outside the holidays and midsummer. Sincerely I would like to thank Mislav and especially for the help with the transfer of the luggage to the car. Thanks Mislav !!

The Lighthouse was amazing. It was secluded and cozy with all the amenities that we needed. It was also in a great location to explore (by car) the surrounding area. We were 20-30 minutes from most things and a little over an hour from our farthest exploration of the city of Buzet and Pazin. I highly recommend working with MyIstria.com and the owners of the Lighthouse were pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend renting a car and there is private parking within the gated property. Would absolutely stay here again if near Pula. The only real downside (which had absolutely nothing to do with myistria.com or the owners) was the fact that curious vacationers would wander onto the property and explore. That happened twice in the week we were there but to no fault of anyone.... It is a beautiful property that people seemed to want a closer look at.

The beach location is a dream. The accommodation in the main building is very cosy and comfortable. Our host, Mislav was wonderful. We will book this accomodation again.

It was also very clean.It was wonderful to be able to swim in the sea every day and retreat to our comfy loungers with wonderful views, extremely relaxing. On the negative side, in my opinion the third bedroom, which is a double and located in a separate building, is not fit for purpose. We did not use it as it had a bad smell and was covered in ants, there were ants on the bed!! Also, personally I felt that the resort behind the lighthouse, where the restaurants and shops were located, lacked charm and soul.If you like resorts it might be your thing but if not, be warned.
