If you imagine your vacation as a wonderful experience in a breathtaking ambience in the middle of the untouched nature of Istria, you have found your perfect villa, because Casa Ceppi 16 offers an excellent experience in the spacious complex of the main building, surrounding ruins and garden. The estate can accommodate up to 16 people in its main house and the small house "Kuci".
As soon as you enter the courtyard, your journey through history begins. Casa Ceppi 16 has survived many art styles. The villa was originally a medieval farm, which later became the property of the Venetian aristocracy. That is why elements from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, such as arches and vaults, were carefully preserved during the renovation. The interior clearly shows why “less is more” is the architectural concept of Casa Ceppi 16. The style could be described as elegant minimalism. With much love, the interior offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
On the ground floor, you will find a dining room for up to 20 people with an open fireplace, a large perfectly equipped kitchen with an office for dishes and groceries, a cloakroom and a charming terrace that leads to the amazing outdoor area. An extraordinary staircase leads to the first floor, where a magnificent terrace awaits you. From there you will enter a cosy living room with an open fireplace, as well as a large bright salon. Next to it, you will find a double room with an antique children’s bed from the Biedermeier period and a baby cot, with its own large bathroom and small salon. The remaining bedrooms with their own spacious bathrooms are on the second floor and the attic, where you will also find a central room with a desk. The main house has bedrooms for a total of 14 people. Two more persons find a place in the small outbuilding "Kuci". It has a bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom, a living room with a fireplace and a small kitchen.
The most important feature of the interior is the quality of the materials in each room, with a wide range of colours extending through the living space. If you want to spend your free time outdoors, a spacious pool awaits you in the lavender and rosemary-scented courtyard, as well as fairytale-like shady ruins and a quiet garden full of walnut trees. Leave the hectic everyday life behind - book Casa Ceppi 16 and spend relaxing holidays in a quiet historical Istrian surrounding!.

Casa Ceppi is located in Oprtalj in northern Istria. Oprtalj can be described as a small picturesque town with a rich history, situated on a hill overlooking the sea. In the past, this small town was a fortress surrounded by walls on which houses were later built. In the 12th century, Oprtalj was the residence of the feudal lords, and later it fell under the Venetian rule, which strongly influenced its architecture until the 18th century. In the northern part of Istria near Oprtalj is located Motovun, one of the most attractive small towns in Istria. Another great attraction is the truffle days that take place in the nearby town of Livade. Umag and Novigrad, as the closest towns, offer you a handful of festivals in summer as well as numerous sights worth visiting. For active vacationers, Istria offers a variety of sporting activities, from cycling and hiking trails to water sports.
