Lovely Villa Serena is exactly what you need if a holiday for you means relaxation and joy for the whole family. This lovingly decorated villa is located in a small place on the eastern coast of Istria, approximately 2 km from the nearest beach.
The villa provides comfortable accommodation for 6 persons in 3 bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed, air-conditioning, TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Two additional persons can be accommodated on the large sofa in the living room. The ground floor of this gorgeous house consists of an open-space living and dining area, connected to the fully equipped kitchen, from where you can directly access the well-tended garden. The highlight of the garden is the inviting private pool with cosy sun loungers beside it. Steps away, there is the beautiful covered terrace, where you can enjoy meals prepared on the barbecue, relax on the comfortable garden sofa and watch the kids having fun on the swings and slide.
One bedroom is located on the ground floor as well, while the remaining two are spread across the upper floor, where there is access to the beautiful balcony, from where you can even enjoy a sea view.
The outdoor terrace and veranda, as well as cosy sun loungers around the pool, all ensure that everyone finds their own perfect spot for relaxing. The location of the villa itself is an ideal starting point for many daily excursions, but if you decide not to leave it, small shops, bars, and restaurants are within walking distance from the villa. Villa Serena has all you need for a carefree family holiday.

Krnica is a small, charming town in the eastern part of Istria, located just a few kilometres away from the sea. The main landmark of this town is the belfry at the church of st. Roko, also the protector of the city. In the village, you have everything you need: a grocery store, post office, cafes, and a restaurant. Krnica is the perfect starting point for day trips to places like Pula, Rovinj, Pazin, Motovun, Groznjan, or Opatija. It is also an excellent place for combining both relaxation and active holidays. Visit the nearby diving centre and discover the mysterious sea world, discover many different beaches and bays across the eastern coast, or go ahead with mountain biking, long relaxation walks, or horse riding, Of course, do not miss trying local gastronomical specialities and do not forget to taste the famous Istrian olive oil.
Wir waren für zwei Wochen in Krnica und hätten uns nichts besseres wünschen können. Das Haus hat 3 Bäder sowie ein WC inkl. Waschmaschine. Die Bäder sind en suite, jedes Schlafzimmer hat also sein eigenes Bad. Die Ausstattung ist gut, es hat an nichts gefehlt.
Das Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und wird vom großen Esstisch flankiert. Es gibt einen Fernseher mit DVD-Player.
In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, inkl. Mikrowelle, Gasherd und Ofen sowie einer Geschirrspülmaschine.
Jedes Zimmer inkl. der Bäder hat eigene Klimaanlagen.
Zur Seite des Pools (dieser ist groß genug für die angegebene Personenzahl) befindet sich eine kleine Terrasse mit 4 Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Pooldeck hat eine Außendusche sowie 6 Liegen. Handtücher für den Pool sind vorhanden.
Auf der anderen Seite des Hauses befindet sich ein größerer überdachter Bereich, hier kann man bei jedem Wetter auch draußen sitzen. Der Gasgrill befindet sich ebenfalls dort.
Im Garten finden sich verschiedene Pflanzen wie zum Beispiele Olivenbäume und auch ein Limettenbusch.
Zugang zum Haus entweder hinten zu Fuß mit direktem Weg in das Dorfzentrum (sehr nah, ideal!) oder über das Tor zur Einfahrt, welches mit einem Funkschlüssel geöffnet wird.
Im Dorf selbst gibt es einen Bäcker, eine sehr gute Pizzeria, eine sehr gute Konoba (Konoba da Rocco). Dann noch ein weiteres Lokal, welches wir aber nicht besucht haben sowie eine kleinen Supermarkt, eine Poststelle und eine Touristeninformation. Es ist also wirklich alles was man braucht zu Fuß innerhalb einer Minute zu erreichen.
Krnica ist ein guter Ausgangsort um die Gegend zu erkunden. Sei es Pula oder Rovinj, Rabac oder die nah gelegenen Strände. Luka Krnica ist der Hafen von Krnica und biete auch Buchten zum Baden. weiterhin gibt es hier auch eine Konoba mit gutem Essen. Für alle genannten Konobas gilt: Am besten einen Tisch reservieren. In der Nähe befindet sich der Ort Duga Uvala, auch hier gibt es verschiedene Buchten inkl. Parkmöglichkeiten und kleinerer, günstiger Bars und Restaurants.
Bleiben noch die Gastgeber zu erwähnen. Giuliana und Vedran sind tolle Menschen und herzliche Gastgeber. Mit Englisch kommt man gut weiter. Zur Ankunft erwarteten uns einige Dinge im Kühlschrank und eine gut gefüllte Schüssel mit Früchten sowie frisches Gebäck.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten jederzeit auf die Gastgeber zugehen, die im Haus nebenan gewohnt haben. Die Kinder waren sehr traurig als sie Abschied nehmen mussten.
Alles in allem hat uns dazu bewegt das Haus bei Giuliana and Vedran für das nächste Jahr nochmal zu buchen.
