Villa Stancija Smokovo 1873 is a place of style and elegance since its inception in distant 1873. The place was built by a member of a royal family, an inventor and politician Mr Dimovic, who was known as a playful spirit and man of exquisite taste.
Back then the place was used as a summer house, a meeting point for the business, scientific and cultural elite, nowadays the villa continues that legacy. The place was completely renovated in 2020., and the renovation took four years. The originality and the spirit of the place were preserved to the maximum, while also outfitting it with modern commodities guests staying there might need, offering the experience of timeless elegance. 3000m2 property is enclosed by stone walls spanning up to 5m in height, and in that enclosure resides a truly impressive house that is 40m long, and divided into two indoor areas. The front of the house is sea oriented while in the back there is a large yard that ends at the edge of the forest. The backyard is modelled as a place of utmost relaxation, with a large pool residing in the middle. There you can take a refreshing swim during those hot summer days, and afterwards bask in the sun on the loungers around the pool while you enjoy a cold drink and a favourite book. There is a covered bar and lounge area in the backyard where you can enjoy the company of your friends and family while the breeze of the past times washes over you. In the front yard, there is a small garden with an old water well, a covered dining area with a summer kitchen and a large BBQ place and two upper terraces with a beautiful view towards the sea and distant islands. On the ground floor of the villa, there are a kitchen and a dining room, a tavern, a large lounge with a pool table and tv zone, one bedroom and two bathrooms. On the first floor, there is a living room with a library and a work area, as well as four more bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is direct access to the front yard terraces as well as to the back yard area from the first floor.
The house is equipped with modern technology like Smart TVs, and Marshall sound system with one portable speakerphone, as well as a projector and a tablet on your disposal in a small movie lounge. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Jadranovo is a small tourist town on the Kvarner coastline, situated some 8 km from Crikvenica and 25 km from Rijeka. Jadranovo is a part of the Crikvenica riviera. Because of its favourable climate, early settlers populated the area far back in the Stone Age, and there are archaeological ruins in the area preserved to this day. Jadranovo is a place to be explored with all senses, a place of wonderful beaches and beautiful landscapes, where the scent of fresh sea air mixes with that of Mediterranean herbs and pine trees. It is only two hours away by car from the country capital of Zagreb. Plitvice, the oldest and largest national park in Croatia is some hour and a half away by car, perfect for a day trip. Island Krk is nearby and connected to land by a bridge, so you can hop in your car and explore the whole island and its many wonderful places and beaches easily. Krk is a place of rich cultural and historical heritage so there are many interesting sites to explore there.
