Charming stone villa with private pool in Groznjan

Villa Nonna Lucia is situated in the municipality Groznjan on the peninsula Istria. Groznjan is a municipality as well as a beautiful medieval town. It is known as “The artist village”. In the warm summer months, the town comes to life and becomes one of the most important cultural centres in Croatia. Numerous galleries as well as ateliers can be found in the town. Every year at the end of July the jazz festival “Jazz is back!” takes place as well as the festival “Ex Tempore” at the end of September, when more than 300 artists from all over Europe gather in the town to exhibit their art works. The city buildings were built from limestone, which was also used in Triest, Budapest and Vienna. On the south of Groznjan you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley of the river Mirna whereas on the east lies another medieval town called Motovun and the mountain Ucka. On the western part of the town has a seaview. The town is also an ideal place to taste traditional Istrian cuisine (truffle) and local honey.
