Villa Nar is located in a small village Krajcar Brig, only 5 km from the city of Zminj in Central Istria. Žminj is a picturesque town in Istria, located on a hill between the Lim valley and the Raša valley, 355 meters above sea level. Žminj and small villages around are well known for agroturism, hiking and cycling tours. The region Central Istria is known for small, picturesque medieval towns surrounded by stunning landcapes which irresistibly remind of Italy. You can discover the countryside by car or you can take a train ride with a train that connects Buzet in the north and Pula in the south of Istria. Žminj is the traditional host of one of the most popular folk festivities in Istria, the Bartulja (at the end of August), dedicated to St. Bartholomew, patron of Žminj (in the church of St. Bartholomew). However, if you want to visit some of Istria´s tourist hot spots, Pula, Porec and Rovinj are only a short drive away. From Pula you can easily visit the nationalpark Brijuni Island and from Porec you can make a boat trip to Venice.
