Charming family villa with pool in Central Istria

Villa Bartol is located in a small hamlet called Katun Trviski, a quiet and idyllic place in Central Istria, located northwest of Pazin, on the hillside next to the Pazin-Motovun road. Nearby you can find the settlement Trviz, which is mentioned for the first time in the 12th century. It was not surrounded by city walls, but there was a defence tower in the center. On the walls of the church of St. Peter and Paul (11-12th century) there are 3 layers of preserved frescoes; a Glagolitic inscription from the 16th century. Near Trviz, on an about 450 m high hill called Piloscak - you will find one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Istria. The villa is located in the heart of Istra, and the location is great for exploring this wonderful and diverse region. Many villages and small towns on hilltops will charm you with its tradition and authenticity. The first beach is just 30 kilometers away (Porec, Rovinj), and while you go to the beach, you can also visit the famous tourist centers, Rovinj and Porec.
