Villa Elena is located in the central part of the Istrian peninsula, near the small town of Kanfanar. The old architecture of the town and surrounding villages is well preserved, and vineyards and olives dominate this area with warm Mediterranean climate. Kanfanar and its surrounding countryside are well known, not only for their historical and cultural legacy but for genuine Istrian cuisine. Istria is a unique and enchanted place that has welcomed visitors and settlers from all parts of the world for as long as we have recorded history. The city of Pula with its Roman amphitheatre and Brijuni national park with an 18-hole golf course are just a 30-minutes drive away. It is a great place to enjoy the food, history and, after all, to relax. Car is recommended.

Wir waren 8 Personen, 4 Erwachsene im Alter von 40-46Jahren und 4 Kinder im Alter zwischen 5 und 13 Jahren. Die Villa ist sehr schön und entspricht genau den Bildern. Ein Vorteil war das Zustellbett, somit war man mit der Zimmerverteilung der Kids sehr flexibel. Die Außenterasse mit dem Kamin war sehr schön und man könnte auch abends draußen sitzen es Kühler wurde. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für diejenigen die Erholung und Ruhe suchen ist das eine sehr schöne Villa. Allerdings muss man sich im klaren sein, daß man mal kurz zum Bäcker oder zum Strand min. 20 Minuten fahren muss und das auf sehr schlechten und kurvenreichen Straßen. Das war für uns der einzigste Nachteil den wir an der Villa finden konnten.
Ein Wunderbares Haus mit allem was man für ein tolles Urlaub braucht. Komme sicher wieder, schon in Oktober dieses Jahr ;-)
