Villa with private pool near Zminj

Sebastian was the perfect host! Very kind, helpful and made us feel welcomed. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay at villa Mathilda. A very clean and comfortable place with all the amenities needed. Enormous living area with a cozy big couch and pleasant bedrooms with warm blankets to keep yourself warm or AC. You can relax in the pool area or at the pool house, where you can choose from sauna or jacuzzi. You can even workout a little bit, play at the foosball table or throw some darts. It has everything you need for a great time. Located in a little village where everyone was nice to us. Easy access to bakeries and grocery stores nearby within a 10 minute drive. My family had an amazing time and felt very much at home. If your planning to stay in Istria this is your spot!

Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wie beschrieben, ist alles vorhanden. Das wichtigste ist, man muss das Landleben mögen...man braucht das Auto,um einkaufen gehen zu können oder zum Supermarkt zu fahren. Dafür ist die Stille ein Genuss und die Menschen sehr freundlich. Wir haben es sehr genossen,ebenso unser Hund....

Villa Mathilda is a beautiful villa perfectly situated in the heart of Istria and was the perfect base for our holiday exploring the beautiful towns, beaches and villages of Istria. This villa simply has everything you could want - the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with luxurious spotlessly clean en suites. The open plan living are upstairs was perfect for relaxing and the kitchen was fully stocked with all equipment you could possibly need. the pool area is stunning and the pool house table football was well used. The village location is quiet and peaceful with enough privacy to enjoy the pool. Our hosts had thought of everything - when we arrived late at night (we drove from London) not only were Sebastian and his wife waiting for us but a bottle of local wine was chilling in the fridge and a plate of biscuits waiting on the table. Part way through our stay our hosts brought us a box of home grown veg from their garden - a lovely gesture. Villa Mathilda is quite simply the best villa we have ever rented, making a great base for our Istrian holiday. The whole family throughly enjoyed the holiday and are already planning a return!

We spent 2 weeks in this very beautiful and comfortable house. Everything was perfekt and exactly as you can see on the internet photos. The owner and his family were very kind and helpful. We felt very well and we will come back for sure. We highly recommend "Villa Mathilda" at any case.
